Are you the new Head of Operations and Medical Director at Carl von Linné Clinic?

Carl von Linné Clinic in Uppsala is now recruiting a Head of Operations (Verksamhetschef) and Medical Director (Medicinskt ledningsansvarig). This role combines overall responsibility for leading and developing the clinic with medical leadership responsibility. Together with your management team, you will lead one of Sweden’s oldest and foremost private IVF clinics, with around 25 employees.

The role includes:

• Driving, leading, and developing the clinic and its employees.
• Being responsible for and leading the medical practice.
• Ensuring that the clinic’s medical practices and methods are continuously developed.
• Acting as the clinic’s voice towards the group and representing the clinic externally.
• Participating in the group’s management team and reporting directly to the CEO.

Your mission includes ensuring that the clinic remains the first choice for patients seeking the highest medical standards, while continuing to be an attractive workplace.

Duties

As a gynecologist, you will have varied and stimulating clinical responsibilities, such as diagnostics, consultations, counseling, and fertility treatments using both patients’ own and donated gametes.

The role also includes:

• Promoting research and development at the clinic.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and group-wide instructions.
• Engaging and developing staff and fostering a positive work environment.
• Participating in MLA meetings within the group to contribute to the development of the entire company. In the MLA role, you report to the Group Medical Director at Livio.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• A specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, with prior experience in reproductive medicine.
• A leader who can engage others and create a positive climate.
• Responsible, service-minded, and quality-conscious.
• Communicative and collaborative, with the ability to see the individual in every patient.

Previous experience in a leadership position is an advantage but not a requirement. A PhD in the field is also a plus but not required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
